Hello all
Thomas G Bedell introduced his B' electric in 1936 ...a box cab of bronze able to pull just about anything you put behind it in O gauge.
Bedell offered a no nonsense power drive with suspension which has great traction .
The box cab is a bit larger than 17/64" ...all bronze double motor weighing in at 14 pounds was very popular .
Bedell also offered power trucks that could be used for a variety of diesels , doodlebugs , interurbans etc.
Bedell offered a drive train for Alexander's GG1 (1941) after Alexander ceased production.
1944 Bedell sells out to Baldwin of CT ...who partners with Walthers to market the Bedell pieces and expand with diesels using modified Bedell power trucks .
