Galloping Goose! Ex streetcar named Desire

Hello all you may enjoy seeing a Galloping Goose

The galloping Goose was created out of necessity not beauty.
When you are bankrupt but still need to transport people ... The overhead of running a steam engine pulling passenger cars is too much for the line so marry a truck and a bus add some railroad wheels start selling tickets.
Many hard on their luck short lines resorted to creativity within their back shops to keep the line open.
Here is an International ( Japan import) Streetcar named Desire...added to a truck / car front end to serve the remaining passengers.
International imported a great number of low end O & HO pieces 1948-50's till the American public demanded higher grade brass imports .
International pieces were imported as "screw driver" kits to receive a lower import tariff.
International advertised their pieces as "scaleplate" ...close to scale but could be used on tinplate rails ...most of thier lower end items .
Please see link for video of the goose in action
