So......these came from two rather different sources, and I begin to wonder it some individual made two lost brothers that I am reuniting or whether a kit did exist for this car? Anyone want to hazard a guess or a bit of info?

An equal to the prior one and almost identical in build quality.

Unsprung rigid archbars are under it now and I have better to put under this car, presuming that I do keep it.

Seems like it took forever, but this car finally reached the bench......



Had repaired the broken end.....





And, now after a few bits, odds & ends this past week, it's ready for paint.

Absolutely no idea! It is a very nice car!!

I'm not even sure if this an eBay or Strasburg meet acquisition (maybe I need to start a "Not so recent acquisitions...)...and I seem to recall it being very cheap so Strasburg rings faintly louder than any other source.

I do wish I had a couple more of them!!!

A few details to touch up, but another useful car......off into the paint queue and then probably some interesting dry transfers from Clover House if I can make a decision...

All I did was to clean it up and tidy up a few details. Thought about adding more underbody details, but I think I'd make a mess of the car.

That's a great looking car! So much to like about it that it's hard to know where to start. Lot's of great details. Nice.

Thanks! I built that one since (1) the project box was at the front of the queue and (2) I need to build something to get myself moving again....

Here's the next up - variation on a theme....

I have been trying to clear away a god bit of kits, project boxes, etc. if only to take back a goodly portion of my workshop. The MoW cars have been coming out of one queue stacked up on the wood lathe, while this car came out of a mislabeled All-Nation/Zimmer box for a box trailer.

Needed the brake wheel, rachet & pawl, ends, couplers to be remounted with screws, 2 of the truss rods were missing, and then the stake pockets. Fortunately, there was a container of the latter, and strip metal for the ends, and some brass wire to make the missing truss rods up.



Hope I get a few good painting days in a few weeks!
