Yes, but if you surround that Flikr string with the Img commands it will show up here.
Just tap the img button above, then hit your "paste" keys. It will surround your string with the proper code automatically. You will see it before you hit the "submit" button, and afterwards, that nice image will be here!

That does not seem to work for Eric's photos.
Added [img]URL[/img] where URL is the code for Eric's photo and got:
Posted the image with BB CODE and got:

Re: Insert a photo from Google Photos/Drive..?
A bit of thread drift... Union Pacific used Erik's great photo on their website.

Edit 1: Changed Eric to Erik.

This is helpful and informative and yes there is trick to this to get this to work. I’ll read carefully and try again.

I did that last night 3 different ways as Flickr has 2 different URLs on an image. One specific for imbedding.and 2 other attempts on the standard browser URL

Does this mean it worked, and you are back? If so, great! Your additions are always well received. Nice work on that tank.
And by the way, it always works when I right click an OGR image (mine, or ones I have permission to duplicate), find the "Copy image link" button, and stick it here in the middle of our Img button. That is, you can use OGR as your host - for free.

Re: Insert a photo from Google Photos/Drive..?
Perhaps a step-wise tutorial would be useful to others not unlike that which Sarge posted for the host that he is using?
I expect nothing and I’m still let down.

One more thing, Erik. Once you paste the BB Code on MTJ, you may erase everything before [img]-and-after-[/img].
The posted image will then look like this:

You can also change the before and after text instead of erasing it, if you wish.

Re: Insert a photo from Google Photos/Drive..?
Wayne, I know you shared this process before and the distance between when I post here and don’t, well I seem to have misplaced the understanding
I appreciate the refresher to posting on this ancient forum platform construct 101, it’s great and was useful. I always thought this was a great forum and I like OGR as well, both are far better than the social media platform options on Meta or TikTok, yes, no and no thank you on that. I’ll pass on the algorithm allowing me or maybe not to reach a potential billion thumb scrollers all the while if I want it or not the weaponized politics and hate campaigns that is unavoidable on them. At least for me, that tailored trip on Meta’s algorithm for me was a nightmare. . I killed my Instagram last month a month after Facebook, good riddance.

Re: Insert a photo from Google Photos/Drive..?
Test photo.

Re: Insert a photo from Google Photos/Drive..?
Okay, that test photo above was from my google photo account that came with google. I used the same routine I do with Shutterfly, where I click on any hosted photo to enlarge it, then right click to copy the image address and then paste that address between the MTJ Img. brackets. But, it didn't work as it does with Shutterfly.
Using google photos would be much easier as I already have it, so what did I do wrong?

No idea. I can't seem to figure out how to use Google photos either.
