Was OGR Hacked?
I went to the site just now and all the new posts were in Chinese or something, didn't want to open them in case there was a virus

Hilarious and the curious/concerned as to how well OGR protected all the personal information they kept demanding be provided by users there.
But it looks like it's reverting back to the normal level of stupidity and inanity there..........

Looks like the admin is on the ball!!!
Reminds me of the other night when I turned my TV on.
The sound was muted, figured the grandson pushed the button.
I turned it to the TBS channel to find there were "voices" on the tube It was a voice describing what the actors were doing, such as "Tommy turns his head looking at Bridget as they climb the stairs" It wasn't what the actors were saying, just what they were doing. It was only happening on TBS so I thought someone hacked them.
2 hours later I finally went online to see what was going on and found that a SAP setting could be the cause.
I don't know how the 19-month old did it but he managed to get deep into the programming to activate the voice over. It took me several minutes to find and undo what he accomplished

Re: Was OGR Hacked?
When I was there this morning, as I attempted to post a reply, an over-notice appeared atop my entry, not allowing me to click and post the reply, saying : "6 Chinese poster attack" (I think that's what I remember they were called ) had hacked them , and that if I wanted to continue I had to clk that I had read the notice and would need to follow a procedure later.
That's my best memory of the episode.
I wish them well; OGR is a virtual place where a whole lot of folks have made friends and acquaintances, worth something of value to many.
Even here , pull the plug and POOF! Connections gone !
9:02pm...I just noticed a thread on the upper segment of the page there from the webmaster about the attack explaining all.

Murph, don't worry. Only thing pulling that plug is a lack of profit.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes
