I see you have it running on your upper level. Here is a photo of it running on UP's upper level.

LOL, Wayne!! What's one little old engine out of 307 anyway!!! That last engine, is the the flag scheme painted on it?

The last engine does have the flag scheme. Its hard to tell because it needs a bath and photo conversion to jpg lost some resolution.

Hev, That was some right-fine snoop-doggin' on your part!!! Who would have thought a Pennsy M1 Mountain builders plate would have wound up down here of all places? :shock: :shock: :shock:

Your engineer friend was correct, also!! On the back it's stamped with either a 7448 or a 1448 as best as I can tell.

Jon,The PRR M1's were numbered 6800-6999. The M1a's 6700-6799 . The first M1 was built by the PRR and was 4700 then renumbered 6699. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Roger! This morning some more polishing revealed another piece of the puzzle!! It looks like 1448 then a 1 over a 4 followed by an E191.
