I know it gives you pleasure to think that sort of schadenfreude, but sorry to disappoint. I hardly could care less if he lives or dies, along with his pack of intellectually challenged and morally bankrupt family and followers. Now that the fascist is gone, at least for a while, as in four years, minimum, I mostly take some satisfaction in letting his supporters here know that he's gone but not forgotten by the legal system. And that their hero had feet of solid lead.

Let's just say it's a relief that it's over. I'm enough of an adult and put a high enough priority on self-preservation that the vast majority of his transgressions against decency and honesty did not impact my day to day life. For which I am grateful. But many other people were not so fortunate. An evil and dishonorable human being as President of one's country is no pleasure.

If I could post pictures I would show the progress I am making with a G gauge Victoria station that I'm working on. All my O gauge trains are Tin Plate. So most everything I have with that is metal. US President Joe Biden says he will not lift economic sanctions against Iran until it complies with the terms agreed under a 2015 nuclear deal.

Mr Biden was speaking in a CBS News interview aired on Sunday.

But Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said Tehran would only return to compliance if the US first lifted all economic sanctions.

He said there was no reason for Washington to be drawn into direct conflict with Beijing, but that both sides would engage in what he called "extreme competition" on the global economic stage.

Playfulness? Less than a month into his Presidency with the death tolls rising from Covid. I can only imagine the headlines if Donald Trump was wearing jeans on the White House lawn. Such double standards.
