The District has some little experience in this sort of thing for Inaugurals and other mass
marches, etc...it isn't, after all, their first rodeo.
The answer is porta-potties, brought in by the hundreds of truckloads.
So, if you come to an event and you have to go (answer nature's call) before you go (depart),
there IS a place for you to go without resorting to the shrubbery,
Been there, done that (porta-potty, not shrubbery!), for several inaugurations since Eisenhower....
Take care,
Wolfgang

I assumed that, but couldn't spot any within the panoramas on TV coverage, and you know what they say about ***uming....
So, I thank you for the assurance, Wolf.

And I forgot to mention that the various Smithsonian museums which line both
sides of the Mall, ARE open weekends. If I remember correctly,I think that they
are only closed on Christmas Day.
Take care,
Wolfgang

Were they open on Friday though? I seem to recall that they close them for security reasons along with the Metro stops all along the Mall areas and through most of the parade route.
Once, men turned their thinking over to machines in the hopes that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.
