The Academy of Model Aeronautics has posted a video concerning the drone registration situation:

The FAA has also been trying to impose a regulation that would require all light aircraft to have an on board transciever that would report speed and altitude. The Experimental Aircraft Association has been trying to negotiate exemptions based on cost (current estimates are $5,000-$7,000) and the fact that many light aircraft have no electrical systems.

I've been flying model airplanes for over 60 years, having to register as a possible danger to public safety seems more oppressive than functional.
You begin flying with a full bag of luck and an empty bag for experience. The object is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

HA!! Just last night I was playing with my kids new quad and sliced my arm open!! These things don't need regulation they need to be banned!!!! :lol:

After Hughs flew that gyrocopter to the Capitol last April, I'm surprised that regulation was not passed overnight.

Traditionally red, however bacon is the perfect food so it goes well with pretty much anything worth drinking.
