Hobo Jungle
Re: Hobo Jungle
Tramp, I've taken a bit of a sabbatical over on the 2 Rail forum! Kinda gettin' edga-ma-cated myself!

Jon, I like the clarity and uncluttered look of your photos, the clean lighting, dark gravel, etc. Is that an Atlas product? Tell me about the draw of 2 rail.
Rich—college students taking Drawing 1. Why did you single out the last student? She made many tries at the pine cone. Maybe five failed attempts. Finally, after much instruction, she spent most of a weekend creating that result. I was very pleased as you might imagine.

Thanks, Tramp! I just like the whole concept of realistic track and scale fidelity. I also want to thank Dennis Brennan for the multiple compliments on my ballast and ground cover... He sells some fine cat litter!!!!!

Got that flat car built yet, Jon?

Re: Hobo Jungle
What did Saint Patrick say to the snakes when he was driving them out of Ireland?
He looked over his shoulder and said:
"Are ya all right in the back there, lads?"
Have a great Saint Pat's. Since I'm only half Irish, should I drink only half my normal ration?

Jon,
I've got one of my kits that I had to cannibalize for parts during a clinic I was giving and I'll be building it in the near future. We can post some pix over on the 2-rail side back & forth as we go.....
And, green is the color of the day and the color of the shall be green! amen & drink it down now!

LOL, Hev!!! That cow skull on the front is lookin' a whole lot more appealing!!!
Rufus, I've managed to cross off one of the biggie's on the top of my list today! It's a $1,500.00 2 rail engine worthy enough to push your kit around my layout!
And n-o-o-o, it's not a Shay or Climax. The suspense builds!!!!!
Who's up for another wee dram of Tullamore Dew?

Well, that's better than twice what I've ever paid for any of my brass engines, Jon!
And, given my druthers, I'd be thinking a one of those scarce & very nice Heisler's that came with both On3 and O trucks.

Jon, I'm going to guess a NY Central engine of some kind with not too many drivers.
