Jon, nice to hear you are somewhere. Tell me it's not true. Tell me you can't actually drink lots of rum at your age and survive. Where lies the secret?

Is it just me, or does Jaabat model some of the best New England scenes ever? He seems to get a NE feel that few modelers have rivaled. And I like that direction in modeling. Obviously.

We've returned from the "primitive global region" known to some as New Hampshire! Bur-r-r-r!!! A nice Christmas reunion with my father and mother! Then off to Rockport with my sister cruising around in a Porsche Cayenne!

True story.
http://www.msnbc.com
Floridian calls 911, hoping for ride to bar
Man, 37, charged with abusing emergency system
Associated Press

Boynton Beach, Florida - Authorities say a Florida man who called police dispatchers claiming that he had been beaten and shot at was hoping the tale would get him a ride to a bar.
Instead, 37-year-old Andre of MTJ is facing charges of misusing the emergency call system.

Hobos, should we have a tin cup toast with photos on New Year's Eve? Let D and me know. Now that the Scumbucket is posting photos again, we're ready.

Jon, you left NH just before the colder weather rolled in. Yesterday was pretty amazing with many of the house windows covered in a layer of ice. D has all this high-tech thermal gear now, so she walks around warm when outside. I refuse the wear anything but an extra flannel shirt. I freeze of course.

Tramp, trust me when I say the weather was bonafide cold enough for this southern boys butt!!! Especially the winds whipping off the Atlantic standing on the Rockport beaches. I wouldn't have traded it for anything, though. What a spectacular piece of country!

Jon, that's some historical NE fishing country out that way. We have a Rockport and Rockland just south of us here in Maine. Does your dad drink rum as well? Rum has always destroyed me, and I've left it be for many years. Even my dad had hesitation with rum. Of course Yukon Jack might be the ultimate undrinkable. Even hardened hardcores falter when hit by the full on Yukon J tsunami.

Hev, I hope your Christmas was as nice as ours! Ya'll get plenty of snow?
Tramp, Actually the splash of rum was from my dad's neighbor, he's a Red Sox fan so that explains it!! My dad is and always will be a die-hard scotch drinker. Nothing fancy mind you, seeing as he's on a pension. But I've seen everything in his house at one time or another from single malt to blended.
Oh yeah, I'm in for the New Years Jungle Party. Also I've taken quite a break from the train room for what seems like well over a couple of months and feel this urge to rekindle an old flame. I think tomorrow would be a great day to do a video run-by of my 3rd Rail T1 Duplex. :D
