Body is at best "odd", but then that makes it even more interesting - looks like a McGuire-Cummings sweeper underneath of the odd bits.

I recall that in my home area the sweepers would be
brought out after a snow of more than a few inches.

They were made both single and double truck usually with side blades and all were adjustable up.down and usually set at an angle. Body on top whatever was wanted. Pretty efficient at moving snow.

Maybe this one is a slightly more familiar configuration and design.......FJ&G plow.

That contraption looks more like a building than a vehicle; at the most, a vacation-trailer. What a heap, so it probably got the job done well.

P.S. Looking at the trolley in the background, I am reminded of a fleet of such streetcars (as we called them back-in-the-day) that serviced the entire Duquesne, McKeesport, Homestead, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania metropolitan area of the fifties. Those bars across the windows are especially memorable, to me, for some reason.

A trolley-line was one of the first features to be configured on the original (and subsequent) layouts (hoping all along that nobody but the President of Freedonia would notice the absence of trolley-pole lines overhead).

The streetcars in the Wheeling, WV, area were very similar. In type and color.
I remember not liking those window bars too, I think because I couldn't stick my head or arms out the window.
