I might add trespassers will be shot and survivors will be shot again

By law they are allowed to knock. They’re not allowed to walk in the grass or park in your driveway. The law allows people to walk up to your door and knock. They must leave if you ask them to
I saw a sign that said “ due to the high price and shortage of ammo. A warning shot will no longer be offered “

This may vary by state.

Probably does, but those that think otherwise are free to test that out and see what the result might be.
As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

Perhaps, but an individual shooting someone for knocking on their door would likely have a test of their own to pass afterward. I'd be more inclined to just draw a chalk outline of a body on my porch and scatter a few Watchtower magazines around it.

A good test of faith,

Speaking of tests of faith, am I the only one who senses a lack of it, when viewing so many churches with lighting rods attached to them?

?????????????
He/she told us to believe and have faith, not to act stupidly. You've heard the old joke about the person refusing to evacuate in a flood? Cops show up with a car.
Police officer: "You have to leave."
Man: "No, God is going to save me."
Then a boat shows up with National Guardsmen to take him off the porch now that the house is surrounded.
Guardsmen: "You have to leave!"
Man: "No, God is going to save me."
Finally a rescue chopper is hovering over the roof where the person has taken refuge.
Pilot: "You have to leave, NOW!"
Man: "No, God is going to save me."
A few minutes later the water over tops the roof and the person is swept away and drowns.
He comes too. He has died and is in heaven. He goes before God and asks:
Man: "Why didn't you save me?
God: "I sent a car, a boat, and even a helicopter. What more did you expect?"

I have made that exact observation here at least once. I have not yet been hit by lightning for raising the question,

Gee, I wonder of whom that document speaks.
