San, thankyou for the TV Acres site. They say that Engineer Bill was on every night 6:00-7:00 PM. I used to ride home from school every day to see Engineer Bill at 12 Noon. He started with an oval of track on his desk and a Mantua Little Six. No one seems to remember that. All my friends can remember is the big American Flyer layouts on the evening show.

The problem with kids right there! NO kids shows with electric trains in them, no wonder there's a drug problem with the young!

hobo heavenIt's beer-thirty in the South. My son and I just finished a few hours playing in the train room. The Niagara with its seven Pullmans thundered down the tracks, the Baldwin VO-1000 lumbered around the upper loop, the unskirted Q-1 pushed down Plasticville houses and folks in every curve, and last but not least, the Berk pulled its consists in a timely and spectacular fashion. A well deserved beer, indeed!!!!
