Highrail just told me that the Big Guns have arrived. I should choose one and wait for orders.

Hey, I need one of those! Keep the neighbor's cat out of the middle of the street.

Drifter, what were you in for? Were you innocent?

We're at the Colonnade hotel in Boston, looking out over the city, drinking Stella Artios drafts. Rather a warm day, but we rode first class on Amtrak with the free drinks, big leather recliners, the whole bit. Man, I like taking the train. Cheers! Have a great weekend.

Jon, the whistle chip is an amazing improvement. Best one I've heard and the haunting, lonely note seems to fit the B&M Berk. Like an engine traveling through heavy fog on a quiet night in New England. The chuff and bell are better as well. Thanks for the tip. Can I buy you a beer and a short?

Pete, some cricket photo.

Roger,

Drifter is correct, I forgot; 1) Drifter does not drink beer, he is whiskey or nothing, 2) Drifter cannot hear us, he responds only to Daisy.

I'll try to remember that... if he ever drifts by again.

short cook - a hobo who stays on the job long enough to amass traveling money, then he is gone, like a leaf blowin' in the wind.

Drifter,

Well, you walk into the room
Like a camel and then you frown
You put your eyes in your pocket
And your nose to the ground
There ought to be a law
Against you comin' around
You should be made
To wear earphones
Because something is happening here
But you don't know what it is
Do you, Mister Jones

Wayne,

I barely remember from earlier times.

Drifter,

If you ever get to Gomers I'll buy what ever you are drinking.
Good luck on your travels.

LOL

I perceive that drifter is a literate hobo. Rye whiskey it is.

It's a whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If I don't get rye whiskey, well, I think I will die

So you spent some time at Deer Lodge? Is it still as overcrowded as ever?

Tramp, Glad you're pleased with the chip! It certainly sounds worth looking into!! Hey, did I just make a pun on words? :D

So bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singin', "this'll be the day that I die."
"this'll be the day that I die."
