If my English is going better, is just because you guys......you motivate me to write.......Andre.
AG, You have the right idea. Keep writing.
Also, be patient with yourself, especially since English is so inconsistent a language. That is, using nouns and verbs, for example, does not follow logical and consistent rules like Spanish, French, or Italian do. That is mainly due to our taking words directly from many languages, due of course to centuries of immigration, and in many cases, taking the pronunciations intact into English.
A very few examples would be: conquistador - Spanish; coolie - Hindi; bouquet; bourgeois; potpourri; pottery - French; pizza; pizzeria - Italian; saurkraut - German; raccoon - Native American (Algonquian); scrub - Danish.
Learnng about compound words, many from Latin and Greek, helps, too, and can be fun and extremely helpful.

Roger,
Jim is not Perrine in webshots, he is jperrine.
Try searching on jperrine. You should get this...
Place your cursor over the thumb images. The first one is not jperrine, it is sakuraianna4.
Move the cursor over until you find member jperrine, like this...
This is jperrine. Now click on the thumb image to see it full size. Enjoy... Jim has posted a lot of train photos.

Jim,
While looking over your album on webshots I spotted the sweetest looking baby ever. Is she one of yours?
Hmmm. Image too small. Webshots says that I can only post thumbs in forums. I take that as a challenge.
Challenge overcome. Now we can all see how sweet she is.

Thanks for helping with the Webshots page. It says to just click on the web address that I put on there. Wonder why it doesn't work. But thanks anyway. Yes aimee is our third and youngist granddaughter. She is now about 27 or 28 months old. We watch her every day for my daughter as my daughter can't afford to put 3 of them in daycare. She is not talking yet so my daughter checked into it and someone comes every two weeks to work with her to try to get her to talk. I am afraid the samething is going to happen to her that happened to our oldest granddaughter. It took her a while to start talking but now she won't shutup. (HAHA). She also has a very good diction and talks without flaw and not just little words but regular sentences. She is a week away from being 4 years old. He name is Jessica and she will let you know if you make a mistake and call her Aimee.
P.S. I just added a newer picture of the 3 grandkids and my daughter and husband with the kids. I have been a member of Webshots since 2000.
Murph: When you get the cats click on my shots and pick albums, that should do it.

The other day I went downtown to run a few errands. I went into the local coffee shop for a snack. I was only there for about 5 minutes.
When I came out, there was this cop writing out a parking ticket.
I said to him, "Come on, man, how about giving a retired person a break?"
He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. His insensitivity annoyed me, so I called him a 'Nazi.'
He glared at me and then wrote out another ticket for having worn tires.
So I proceeded to call him 'doughnut eating Gestapo.'
He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first.
Then he wrote a third ticket when I called him a moron in blue.
This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I talked back to him the more tickets he wrote.
Personally, I didn't really care. I came downtown on the bus.
The car that he was putting the tickets on had one of those bumper stickers that said, "Obama in '08".
I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm retired. The doctor tells me that it's important to my health.
