Re: Micro-Trains goes to Atlas
Seeing Atlas owns rights to DCS, this is scary. It could mean Microtrains with DCS on board.

AI is advanced logic taken to a new level. The artificial intelligence hype is 2000 proof bullshit.

They will do more runs and the prices will tank. Lets not forget the woodside reefer craze. The prices have since tanked big time. If it's made for collectors, it isn't collectible.

Re: tr-ai-nz
TrainZ has grown to hire a lot of non-train people who are clueless to what they list on ebay. Case in point. A common as dirt Lionel Geep repainted to resemble the sought after postwar Milwaukee orange cab geep variation. Even though it's noted to be a repaint in the description, it' gets listed as...

Re: Done With Stupid
I avoid anything MTH or Atlas Premier with DCS electronics. Watching $300 suddenly go up in smoke is not a hobby for me. I was taught after use, to turn rattle cans upside down and run a good shot of spray through of them to keep the nozzle clean. That the paint doesn't enter the internal plastic ho...

BINGO. Nor do they understand the difference between gauge and diameter. And then there's "standard scale" Who the hell dreamed that up???prrjim wrote:The problem with that thread is that it continues the confusion of "Scale" and "Gauge"

Re: What Scale is 3-Rail?
The author of the link is kind of wet and doesn't know his O scale history (or arithmetic for that matter) all that well. For an American track gauge of 4'-8 1/2", 1/48 is NOT the correct scale for 1 1/4" O gauge track. 1/45 IS correct for O gauge track. Formerly known as 17/64"/ft sc...

With MTH being gone, the magazine is now free of useless filler material. Being thinner is not such a bad thing.

After litigating everything under the sun, MTH provoked Lionel to become lawsuit happy. So it's really MTH's fault.

That was hilarious to say the least.         ...
